Can I make a bulk order?

What is the difference between stained glass and fused glass?

Stained glass is made by cutting individual pieces of colored glass and joining them together, either with strips of lead came or by wrapping each piece in copper foil and soldering the seams. This is the traditional technique used for church windows and classic decorative panels.
Fused glass, by contrast, is created in a kiln. Layers or pieces of glass are arranged together and heated to high temperatures until they melt and bond into a single, solid piece. Instead of being held together by lead or solder, the glass literally becomes one.
Both techniques start with the same raw material, but the process — and the final look — is different. Stained glass has visible linework from the metal joints, while fused glass has a smoother, more continuous surface.

Yes, I do make custom commissions from photos. This works especially well for pet portraits and memorial pieces — a clear photo of your pet is one of the best starting points for capturing their likeness in glass. Check Commissions to find out more about requesting a custom design.
