Most of my favorite pieces started as someone else's idea. Here's how the process usually goes, so you know what to expect before you reach out.

1. Share Your Vision

   Fill out the inquiry form below with as much or as little as you have — a rough idea, a photo of the space, a color you love, a concept you want me to bring to life. There are no wrong answers at this stage.

2. Initial Consultation

   During this step, I gather the information I need to design a piece that fits your vision and your space. I’ll call or email you within 2 weeks of receiving your inquiry form to ask questions and share initial thoughts. This is where we work together to move from “What if…” to a rough draft idea. This part is free and no obligation.

3. Design Phase

   Once we decide on a design concept, I will create a custom design based on your vision. You’ll pay a $100 design fee which includes my initial design, 2 additional consultations and 2 additional design edits based on our conversations. The design fee will apply to the final cost of the completed piece.

   After you approve the design, I will prepare color samples so you can see the exact glass palette before assembly begins. Nothing moves forward until you are completely happy with both the design and the colors.

4. Finalize Payment

   Once we have agreed on design, size, and timeline, I’ll provide an invoice. Commissions typically begin at $150-300 per square foot, depending on size, color, and complexity. The invoice will also include whether the finished piece requires pickup from my studio (free), local delivery (cost based on distance from Portland, Oregon), or shipping (cost based on size). A 50 percent deposit is required to begin assembly. This deposit secures your materials and reserves your project’s timeline. The remaining balance is due at completion.

5. Assembly

   With a 50 percent deposit paid, I begin the work. I will cut each piece of glass by hand, solder the pieces together, and ensure durability and structural integrity. Upon completion, I will clean, frame, and prepare the final piece for pickup, local delivery, or shipping.

   I will share progress along the way via email and phone, including photos of the creation process. Your artwork will be crafted with the same care, precision, and intention I bring to all of my work.

6. Pickup, Delivery, or Shipping

   Once your piece is completed, it will be available for pickup, local delivery, or shipping. For large panels and architectural installations, I can share hanging and installation guidance.
